Terms of Service

These terms describe how uboord may be used, what we commit to, and what we expect from the people and organizations using the product.

Draft copy. This document is a working template for uboord and has not been reviewed by a lawyer — replace it with your own reviewed wording before launch.

1.Accounts and account types

uboord is offered in three account types: Individual, Startup and Enterprise. The features, seat limits and prices of each are shown on the pricing section of our website and may change with notice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information used to create an account, for keeping sign-in credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Enterprise owners appoint department heads, and heads appoint employees. Whoever creates a workspace is responsible for the conduct of the people they invite into it.

2.Acceptable use

You agree not to use uboord to do any of the following:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break the law.
  • Upload content you have no right to share, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to access another organization's workspace, data or account.
  • Probe, scan or overload the service, or interfere with its normal operation.
  • Resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell the account owner why whenever we are able to.

3.Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose. Startup plans are capped at the published member limit; Enterprise plans are billed at the agreed monthly rate.

Charges are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.

If a payment fails we may downgrade or pause the workspace after notifying the account owner.

4.Your data

You own the tasks, files, links and other content you put into uboord. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models.

We store and process your content only to run the service for you: displaying boards, calculating workload, sending alerts and providing support when you ask for it.

You can export or delete your content at any time from inside the product. Deleting a workspace removes its content from live systems.

5.Availability and changes

We work to keep uboord available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades and incidents happen.

We may add, change or remove features. When a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will tell affected account owners in advance.

6.Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may close or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where the law requires it.

On termination your right to use the service ends. We keep backups for a limited period before permanent deletion.

7.Liability

uboord is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8.Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@uboord.app, or through the business inquiry form on our contact page.
